కాటేసి తీరాలెమన కొంపలార్చిన మన స్ర్తీల చెరచిన
మన పిల్లలను చంపి మనల బంధించిన
మానవాధములను మండలాధీశులను
మరిచి పోకుండగ గురుతుంచుకోవాలె
కసి ఆరిపొకుండ గురుతుంచుకోవాలె
కసి ఆరిపోకుండ బుసకోట్టుచుండాలె
కాలంబు రాగానే కాటేసి తీరాలె
‘సత్యమ్మహింస’యని సంకోచ పదరాదు
‘దయయు ధర్మం’ బనుచు తడుముకో పని లేదు
‘శాంతి’యని చాటినను శాంతింపగా రాదు
‘క్షమ’యని వేడినను క్షమియింపగారాదు
‘చాణక్య నీతి’ నాచరణలో పెట్టాలె
కాలంబు రాగానె కాటేసి తీరాలె.
తిట్టిన నాల్కలను చేపట్టి కొయ్యాలె
కొంగులాగిన వ్రేళ్ల కొలిమిలో పెట్టాలె
కన్ను గీటిన కళ్ల కారాలు చల్లాలె
తన్నిన కాళ్లను ‘డాకలి’గ వాడాలె
కండ కండగ కోసి కాకులకు వెయ్యలె
కాలంబు రాగానే కాటేసి తీరాలె.–కాళోజి

1948 సం||లో గుల్బర్గా జైల్లో ఉన్నప్పుడు రజాకార్లు జనగాం తాలూకాలోని బైరాన్ పల్లి గ్రామ ప్రజలపై మూకుమ్మడిగా జరిపిన అత్యాచారాల వార్తలను చదివి ఆవేదన చెంది రాసిన గేయం

one of the greatest voices of action. assertion. a call that is applicable for all times in the face of exploitation.
aggression and oppression today may be different from the atrocity that made kaloji give such call for a war against brutal forces.
but can one ignore that one doesn’t get liberation by failing to oppose the oppressive forces?
kaloji inspires people to stand for what we value and what we live for and speak to that speak that in unambiguous manner
